Growing up with the nickname "The Juice" gave me a unique lens through which to view the rise and fall of OJ Simpson; a man who defines a complex chapter of American culture. In this heartfelt episode, we peel back the layers of his legacy, from gridiron glories to courtroom dramas, and explore how his saga intersects with identity and celebrity. But it's not all somber reflection—we also cut into the media's favorite fruit of speculation: paternity rumors around Khloe Kardashian. Join us as we dissect how these narratives are crafted and the lasting impressions they leave on public memory.

Turning up the volume, we jump into the pulsating world of hip-hop, where the beats of J. Cole's latest moves resonate. Is he stepping out of the ring or simply sidestepping a blow in the ongoing rap battle royale featuring heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar and Drake? Mr. Let Me Cook, feels  a way about it. We throw our hats in the ring, debating the essence of competition in music. And if you think that's contentious, strap in for our UFC predictions, where A-Train ,Ace, Marc, Swank and Egogh. Our resident fight aficionados, lay down their expertise. We're not just talking knockouts and submissions; we're talking pride on the line, as losers face the ultimate penalty—a shot of humility for each wrong pick. It's a toast to camaraderie, competition, and the unpredictability of the sports and music we love.

Speaker 4:

Took a little break.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

I wanted to give a shout out to the Muslims. They just celebrated the Eid al-Fitr, coming back from their fasting Nice.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 4:

They took time out to get their grub on and feast.

Speaker 1:

Is it As-Salaam-Alaikum? Am I saying it correctly?

Speaker 4:

I wouldn't go into that, but Okay my bad. Sorry.

Speaker 3:

Peace and love. Peace and love. How about that? I?

Speaker 4:

just said. Shout out to him yeah, peace and love.

Speaker 1:

How about that? My bad, sorry, no disrespect in any way, absolutely None intended. Yeah, none intended. I was you know.

Speaker 4:

How about anything else? The only bone I gotta pick is, though, they didn't invite us Christians To come eat with them, so it's on. It's on for Christmas, that's all.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we are definitely Keeping the Muslims away from the Christmas ham. We're definitely doing that.

Speaker 4:

We're keeping the same energy. Yeah, we're definitely doing that.

Speaker 1:

No ham for the Muslims.

Speaker 5:

You're right, apparently you guys are not familiar with satanic verses, so you know what? Just don't even go there, okay.

Speaker 1:

No, I mean, look, you hear me, I'm saying we're keeping Muslims away from the Christmas ham. You hear me, the ham.

Speaker 4:

You hear me In particular, sam, I am. No green eggs, sam, I am.

Speaker 3:

That's a friend of mine that's actually a DJ Sam.

Speaker 1:

I am Shout out to you, man, that niggas is crazy.

Speaker 3:

Anywho, that niggas is crazy.

Speaker 4:

Moving on Right back to you, Ace.

Speaker 1:

Moving on, moving on. Actually, I would like to give a RIP to OJ Simpson, the. To OJ Simpson, the juice, the original juice man. Wow, why? I mean, look, rip can be anything you want it to be. There you go, you use your imagination. Yeah, I'm going to say rest in peace to that man because I believe that he was a troubled soul and hopefully that soul can come to rest at some point. Come to peace at some point, I mean, given he's probably not going to the most peaceful place if he's done the things that we believe that he's done. But right now I'm going to speak about him in a decent regard, especially just his football career.

Speaker 1:

I had a football coach. I have the initials AJ, he's the initials OJ, so my football coach called me the juice. Also, wow, I wore 32 for a season. That season that I had that football coach that called me the juice, and we went to a championship game for a season. That season that I had that football coach that called me the juice. We went to a championship game. We lost that game but I beasted. No here or there, but either way, oj Simpson.

Speaker 5:

I didn't know that about you. That's just wonderful.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, man, I've lived a long life. Jack of all trades. Yeah, I've lived a long life. It's crazy. But yeah, oj Simpson man, apparently he was battling. He died at 76. Yeah, apparently he was battling cancer.

Speaker 5:

I did not know that. I didn't know that at all, any particular kind of cancer?

Speaker 1:

I have no clue.

Speaker 5:

He just died today yeah.

Speaker 1:

I haven't actually had the time to look it up. I I haven't actually had the time to look it up. I mean, I probably have had the time to look it up, I just haven't looked it up, so, hey, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going to keep it funky with you.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying. I did watch a bit of a segment about it and I heard it and I do think it is interesting because they use like, when talking about this, it's all about the case, and talking about that and that's in the news again using his mug mug shot, you know, for the picture of him and and really a lot of what they're talking about is is the football highlights, but then a lot of it is the case as well, um, which you know. It is what it is. You know, at the end of the day, it's like those are the two memorable things, um, but you know again, you know ri, I mean he was a movie star.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was a movie star.

Speaker 1:

Like he didn't just only play football and kill people.

Speaker 2:

That's what the news is.

Speaker 3:

I guess those are the two salacious news bites the highlights.

Speaker 2:

I'm just saying those are the memories that the media has picked and used.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying'm saying so shout out to his family, his, uh, his daughters, including chloe kardashian. I mean, excuse me, oh, um, oh, we went there my bad.

Speaker 3:

She, yeah, my bad. There I mean talk about that. What do you feel?

Speaker 1:

I can't speculate too far. All I know is that there was a time period. If you Google the picture of OJ Simpson's real daughter, his confirmed daughter. What's her name? I'm not sure, but if you just Google OJ Simpson's daughter, there's a picture of her. She looks very similar to Khloe Kardashian, and it's strange, because Khloe Kardashian does not really look like either one of her sisters.

Speaker 5:

So you're trying to say there's some kind of impropriety with Kris the mother?

Speaker 1:

that she's not angelic. Bro, I said nothing about Kris Jenner and I will say nothing about Kris Jenner.

Speaker 5:

So you think that OJ had an affair with another woman and just brought this child and said, Kris, could you raise her for me?

Speaker 1:

No, all I said was OJ could possibly be Khloe Kardashian's father.

Speaker 3:

You're not going to catch him.

Speaker 1:

I did not say anything about Kris Jenner, sir, nothing. I'm so sorry. If you want it, one plus one to that, that's on you. That's on you, but me. I am not saying anything negative about Kris Jenner. I hear you yeah, so well, you know what I'm going to segue from one J to another.

Speaker 4:

Before you do, though, I just want to say this Well again, rest in peace, shout out to his family, you know whoever's grieving, whoever he left behind, his case has been, it's left, a staple as far as america's history is concerned. The, the um, the criminal justice system, um, and then you know to like, even like, the car industry, for the broncos, with the car chase and all yeah so um gloves the gloves yeah, if they don't fit riIP, rip. He has missed. Rip the juice.

Speaker 1:

Mad mad branding tools.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, oh my.

Speaker 1:

God.

Speaker 6:

That's what I said.

Speaker 1:

He could have got a sponsorship with the Bronco Ford Bronco the new one and his own brand of gloves.

Speaker 2:

They could have a special color of like cream white Bro, his own brand of gloves. They could have a special color of like cream white Bruh, his own brand of love. No, no, no.

Speaker 1:

Actually, before we do move on, before we do move on, I do, I'm going to put him on the spot. Mark, you said you had something that you wanted to say about OJ. Oh yeah, and I want to hear this.

Speaker 2:

So I was just talking. It's basically about how the news is reporting on it, okay, and it's all about his mugshot and the case and everything also, and you already said that, yeah. But the other thing that I do find is interesting is, uh, the um, like we're talking about the car things. I feel like ford has not missed the opportunity to do branding. You guys noticed that they had the small suv when they didn't have the Bronco. You know what it was called the Ford Escape.

Speaker 4:

I was like dang, that's funny.

Speaker 1:

I didn't mean that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was like yo they discontinued the Bronco and then in the early 2000s they brought in another small SUV and they called it the Escape, and then they discontinued the Escape and brought back the Bronco. Yeah, not to say that they're the exact same car because they're different, but they are the small, compact SUV that Ford was making. I just think that's ingenious.

Speaker 1:

I like that, I like that. All right, so from one, like I said, from one J to another. A couple days ago, gentlemen, I realized just how old I am.

Speaker 5:

Really.

Speaker 1:

How old are you? I mean, I I'm not gonna say all that, but I mean I'm 38, fuck it, I'm 38, but I realized how old I am. Um, yeah, bro, I'm. I am a fan of, as j Cole would put it, blood, because I do not like this new generation of kumbaya and happiness and mental wellness. I don't like this. Okay.

Speaker 3:

I don't like this. How about we play what we think is going to be better? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 1:

Let me cook, let me cook. I'm sorry, let me cook, let me cook. I don sorry, let me cook. I don't like this shit. I don't like this shit. Mental wellness, though yeah, that's how far I'm going, because I feel like this is some therapy type shit, like this is a result of some therapy type shit. So J Cole Kendrick Lamar dissed J Cole. Well, I don't know if he dissed J Cole at this point, because there's a lot of information going around and I kind of want to cover all of it, so let me get through this.

Speaker 2:

Well, he definitely did diss him and J Cole.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, let me get through this real quick. Let me get through this as quick as I can, please. J Cole. Kendrick Lamar dissed J Cole a couple days ago on, or a couple weeks ago at this point, on a future Metro booming record. He dissed J Cole and Drake on a future record. Drake has an album with Future, very interesting in that situation, so maybe Drake and Future now have beef. But that's neither here nor there. He dissed Drake and J Cole. So J Cole took the time and he responded he dropped an EP or an album, I don't know what to call. It might delete later. I think it was a great body of work. Last song on it was 7 Minute Drill. 7 Minute Drill, 7 Minute Drill was the response to Kendrick Lamar. Um, last song on it was seven minute. Uh, seven minute drill, seven minute drill, seven minute drill was the response to Kendrick Lamar. This is what we've been waiting for. J Cole has been killing features, killing verses for the last couple of years. So this is what we have been waiting for. Ego, could you please?

Speaker 4:

play Before he plays it. What do you think was a good response, though?

Speaker 1:

We'll get to that in one second. Could you just play Before he plays it? Do you think it was a good response, though? We'll get to that in one second.

Speaker 6:

Could you just play a snippet of it, please? Your third shit was massive and that was your prime. I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine. Now I'm front of the line with a comfortable lead, high running. So I got it. Now he want something with me. Well, he caught me at the perfect time. Jump up and see why I got here off of bars. Not no controversy. Funny thing about it, bitch. I don't even want the prestige.

Speaker 1:

I like that. I like that Little bounce beat. You know the song switches the beats and he gets a little. I don't want to say grimier or whatever, but the beat gets a little grimier. It switches off later on in the song, but I like the response. You know this demands catalog. This is rap. This is lame, yeah, this is rap. I'm going to you. You know we're gonna talk about rap yeah I like this.

Speaker 1:

You know, kendrick didn't say anything about no personal. J cole came back and respond. He didn't say anything about personal. I liked it. At this point I'm actually waiting to see what drake is gonna say fuck your bitch in the click you claim you know, I'm saying like I'm, I'm, I'm wondering if how drake is going to respond.

Speaker 1:

Is he going to rap to these gentlemen, or is he going to rap to k dot, or is he going to sing to him? Because that's probably the most disrespectful thing you can do to somebody apparently they said he has.

Speaker 4:

He has a response coming yes, we're gonna get there.

Speaker 1:

We're going to get there, we are going to get there. So, with that being said, he responded. So, like I said, I'm waiting for Aubrey's response. We're waiting for Aubrey. We're going to go by first name.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, we're waiting for.

Speaker 3:

Aubrey, you know what I'm saying. So we're not going to listen to the apology.

Speaker 2:

No, Bro, I don't, I know you don't I know, you know that pissed asa off when you heard see, this is where, this is where I want to get to. Yeah, so I want to get.

Speaker 1:

So let him finish cooking for me the problem, my biggest problem with this is also timing. Yeah, bro, it took you a week and a half two weeks to respond to this man and you apologized in two days. What in the fuck yo like? I don't understand it. This is competition. This is like playing hoops one-on-one with your man and y'all not talking shit to each other and the game not getting a little dicey just because y'all. Competitive nature is there. J Cole, for the last couple years, like I said, has been killing verses, been killing everything, been saying how he was the best rapper, even on this album. He's saying people don't want smoke with him and, as one gentleman put it on Twitter or something he said, j Cole in a song said everybody don't want to smoke with him and then, with two days, wanted ventilation. This is crazy. I'm not with this.

Speaker 1:

I don't like this, like I want. I miss competition in hip hop. I miss it. When somebody said that I'm the best rapper, they went out and proved it. Because now, at this point, j cole is still an amazing lyricist, he's still an amazing rapper, but he's now officially third on the list. This has he. If he had a chance at being number one, or if we all looked at him at number one at some point. He is now officially third and is just going to be third. Who saw? Who saw man? No, I'm serious. I'm serious Because the idea behind it is like I said. There's a lot of different ways we can look at this. I've heard a lot of information. I've heard a lot of information. I've heard information of, like Swank just said we have new Kendrick, not Kendrick.

Speaker 1:

Drake already has a verse Drake already has a song coming. I've heard that Kendrick has a song coming. He's ready also, so both these gentlemen are ready.

Speaker 2:

Well, and Cole also says at the end of his verse you know, like. You know, basically, like I'm ready, I'm going to take it on the chin. It sounds like he's saying I'll listen to your verse, but he's also saying I'm not going to. The way it sounds is like I'm not going to respond to it, even if you say something, which again, that I feel kind of conflicted with it, because I definitely hear what you're saying, that I think this is good competition. It seems like it's not a beef around anything personal. No one is getting too personal, which I like, because we don't want it to get too volatile and too personal and devolve into something.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, lose another one. Like I said, this is going to be the safest rap beef of all time, because they've come up together.

Speaker 2:

A lot of them have records together, like you're talking about.

Speaker 1:

They're not violent.

Speaker 2:

No, they're not violent individuals.

Speaker 2:

It's just good competition and at the end of the day it's good for sales, it's good for the fandom. People get to hear their artists dissing each other. But if it's not personal, it's not going to ruin relationships, then it's just healthy competition. But I do also kind of feel where Cole's coming from, because I guess Cole's perspective, from what it sounds like he's talking about in his apology and even in his verse he's talking about, is like he didn't want to go this route. But again, I hear that. But then he can't also be talking about no one wants smoke with me. If then someone tries to give him smoke and he's not wanting that.

Speaker 1:

So it's a double-edged sword. When you say that on your record, my problem is you can't say I want smoke like you. You just can't say I want smoke. But then when the top people want smoke with you, now you want to run, or now you don't want to engage, I don't want peace, and so. So there's a lot of different ways you can look at this. Let me get this out real quick. There's a lot of different ways you can look at this. Let me get this real quick. There's a lot of different ways you can look at this. J Cole is doing one of two things he's either afraid or he's bowing out gracefully. And when I say he's bowing out gracefully, it's because he understands that Kendrick and Drake really don't like each other.

Speaker 1:

And they are going to actually make this a real situation. And so J Cole is saying you know what I this a real situation. And so J Cole is saying you know what? I didn't know. It was like this. I was thinking that we were just going to rap.

Speaker 1:

And so now that we're not just rapping, I'm pulling myself out of this. I'm saying my bad dog, I never dissed Drake, so me and Drake should still be cool, but I'm completely taking myself out of this. So if he's doing that, to a certain extent, I respect it, but at the same time, because of you doing that, you see a fight happening between the big now the big two. You have now officially made yourself three, number three, yeah, and and and that's what it is so, can I, can I say something though?

Speaker 4:

um, have you listened to his apology? It made me sick actually. Okay, so what I got from it is this, right, and remember, we talked about this in our last episode as well Like, why is it taking him this long to respond? Right, he didn't want no parts of it to begin with.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he didn't want to do it, then he shouldn't have said nothing in the first place.

Speaker 4:

You know he was being pushed to respond.

Speaker 1:

You are a 30-something-year-old man.

Speaker 4:

And he lost control and took the bait which he's saying. That's out of his character.

Speaker 1:

You're a 30-something-year-old man, so he had to reel himself back in.

Speaker 4:

I get it.

Speaker 1:

People can't make you jump out of character bro he fed into the hype.

Speaker 2:

Or it could also be that he put it out, you know, and then, like you said, he realized some complications about this thing and realized it wasn't just going to be friendly competition, it was going to be a battle. Yeah, and then he's bowing out and you know, I think that's. You know if that's how it's going to be, who knows what these responses between Drake and Kendrick are going to look like, but we'll see.

Speaker 4:

Well, we got a battle coming up this weekend, gentlemen, we got a battle coming up this weekend.

Speaker 1:

We have UFC 300 and I know sometimes you guys get tired of us talking about fighting, but we kind of got to get on this one just a little bit. Just a little bit, because we've been here a few of us have been here, I mean not really, but once again we're men and so we're competitive. Because we've been here A few of us have been here, I mean not really, but once again, we're men and so we were competitive.

Speaker 4:

We have egos, no pun intended. We've all gotten into fights.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying, no pun intended. Yes, everybody has their own fighter knowledge, somewhat, somewhat To some extent, and so you know. So people like to. We want, we want to do some predictions. And this ties in so well, because we actually have a dmv native fighting this weekend sadiq yusuf. He's going to be fighting Diego Lopez.

Speaker 4:

Brazilian.

Speaker 1:

Sadiq is 13 and 3.

Speaker 4:

Sadiq is Nigerian.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to my Nigerian folks Nigerian fighting out of I believe it's Camp Springs and Lloyd Irving's camp.

Speaker 5:

He's the main man on this area.

Speaker 4:

We might have gone to school with that, bro man you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

I'm too old. I'm older than that gentleman. He's my nephew's age. I believe he was born in like 97, I believe, oh no, baby. Okay, but still, still, and he called that nigga a baby. That's fucked up. 97? Yes, I mean, I feel you, but God damn.

Speaker 4:

Anyway.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, no disrespect, yeah, that's just funny. But yeah, we got a pretty stacked card this weekend with USC 300.

Speaker 3:

Do you want to go down the list and see who we think you're going to win?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, no, we're going to do predictions and so we're going to do it real quick, everybody. So we kind of want to spice it up a little bit. Right, exactly, we're going to do Let them know the rules. Yeah, a little gentleman's bet. If you win, basically we're going to pick the matches. If you win, you don't get shit. Well, you get to be safe. Yeah, you get bragging rights.

Speaker 1:

If you lose, you have to take a shot. That's where the problem is. There's about 12 or 13 fights on this card. 12 or 13 fights on this card. So, if you yeah, what's that? Yeah, 13 fights on this card. And if you lose, depending on how bad you pick, you could potentially take 13 shots, but to keep yourself safe. Also, one more rule is you can can pass. If you don't know anything about either gentleman, you can just pass and say you know what? I'm not making a pick on that one. There's no pressure. Yeah, there's no pressure because, like I said, potentially we are going to take 13 shots if you're wrong, if you're completely wrong, I ain't worried about that let let's go.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't think I'm certainly we got sharks over here. Yeah, I'm certainly hoping nobody's going to be completely wrong. I mean, we got A-Train. He is the the coach of. Yeah, he's the coach. We've got knowledgeable gentlemen, exactly. He knows his. I'm not following him with him. He knows his ish. I'm gonna follow him. Yeah, he knows his ish, so his knowledge is there. We have ego, who is an ex-fighter himself yeah, ex-coach himself, so he has his knowledge.

Speaker 1:

I'm sorry, my bad, my bad, no disrespect, I ain't retired my bad no disrespect, I'll be coaching you sometimes I'll be seeing you in it, so I'll be like maybe this nigga doing some other shit, you know what I'm saying Switch sides.

Speaker 4:

Switch sides More profitable. He wants the easy life. Superman, Clark Kent.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying, so all right, and me, you got me. I have no formal knowledge at all. I am a street. There, you go so and we got Mark and, excuse me, mark and Swank, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I don't know much, but he watching the sports bar. I'm trying to learn You're going to learn today.

Speaker 3:

All right, so we're going to make these predictions You're going to learn tonight.

Speaker 1:

Let's run through this. Let's run through this. We want to do it from the top to bottom or bottom to top.

Speaker 3:

Prelims or what.

Speaker 1:

Let's do bottom to top. Do early prelims. Yeah, let's do bottom to top. Let's do bottom to top.

Speaker 3:

All right. So early prelims we got.

Speaker 1:

All right, so first fight we got Davidson Figueiredo and.

Speaker 4:

I'm saying Garbrandt, that's America versus Brazil.

Speaker 1:

In this situation, I'm going to go Davison.

Speaker 5:

Wow, that's very interesting. I was going to go Cody, because Cody has been looking good lately. He's the biggest, stronger guy. He's kind of on a roll. Davison's been in some wars, so I'm not sure what is left in his tank. Okay, so we got a controversy. What is left in?

Speaker 3:

his tank. So okay, so we got a controversy right here. Okay, man, I think I'm going to go with Ace. I'm going to do Davis.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 4:

Looking at that record, man, I'm going with Davidson.

Speaker 3:

That record don't mean nothing but that's what I'm going with. I got to go with something.

Speaker 1:

See the thing about it is three of those losses came like the three of those losses, I believe all three if not From top fight, not even from top, from one person, one person. So two of his losses if not From championship fight, yeah, two of those losses and one tie is from one person. So in this situation Davidson's record is very skewered Right.

Speaker 4:

But here's what I'm going with that he's fought more. He's fought 22 battles, right, okay, yeah, oh, he's won 22 battles. Oh, he's won 22. He's fought 26.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm going to go with Davison too.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Okay so.

Speaker 3:

A-Train's on his own, so.

Speaker 6:

A-Train's on his own, all right.

Speaker 3:

Fight number prelim I mean, do you want to do that? You can, jim Jim Miller, he's a veteran, but it's we. I don't know too much about Bobby Green that he's fighting, so I can't. I'm going to opt out on that one.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm going to go Bobby Green. The reason I'm going to go Bobby Green? Because he's black. All right, yes, yes, um, now I'm going bobby green just because, uh, bobby green, I believe in in my mind has been the more active fighter over the last couple of years most recent yeah, so I'm gonna go with the guy that has the more activity yep, I agree with that, bobby green, although jim does look like he has more wins by a few, six more wins, wins yeah

Speaker 5:

definitely. I don't know either one.

Speaker 2:

I'm passing on this one.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so like, yeah, so like he's been out there. He's a veteran, jim's been. He's took him shots Like he'll stay toe-to-toe with somebody in this swing.

Speaker 1:

All right, Swank, you got the last one, Nah man, I'm passing on this one cool Jessica Andrade versus Maria.

Speaker 4:

Sorry, is somebody keeping track of our votes and stuff? It's recorded so we can always.

Speaker 6:

I forgot what we were doing Good, you know what.

Speaker 1:

I'm saying it's recorded, all right. So Jessica Andrade versus.

Speaker 3:

Marina Andrage.

Speaker 1:

Andrage excuse me, Andrage versus Marina Rodriguez. I don't know too much I want to go, jessica, because she's the veteran, she has the knockout power. But they have been saying this young girl is kind of amazing the new.

Speaker 3:

thing.

Speaker 1:

So in this situation, I'm going to pass.

Speaker 5:

Wow, you passed. Wow, that's very interesting. You know what I feel like funny passing on anything, because I have an opinion about like every fight. Oh, okay, all right.

Speaker 1:

So if you're gonna call me out like that, then I'm gonna go marina no, I lie, I lie, I'm gonna I'm gonna go jessica.

Speaker 5:

I'm gonna go jessica.

Speaker 1:

I'm going jessica I'm going, jessica, I'm gonna trust the veteran more than a politician.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Pass no one side, no, the other side, no, no, no, I'm passing All sides.

Speaker 1:

And as I say I'm going to figure. My last one's going to be Jessica. I'm going to go with the veteran. Okay, I'm going to believe that the young girl hasn't been touched before and if Jessica can touch her, she may go to sleep.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think if it goes dirty we're going some tough bleeding and all that stuff.

Speaker 3:

I'm going the opposite, because I feel like Andrade has been, like lately, been not doing what she used to be, and so she's. That's the reason why she's on the prelims. So she cause she hasn't performed where she used to be, and I think that she's lost that, that knockout power, cause everybody figured her out and I think this new one knows exactly her game plan. So I think she's going to win.

Speaker 5:

Nice, nice Okay.

Speaker 1:

I like that. I like that.

Speaker 4:

I don't like seeing ladies fight man. You know they're going to mess up their pretty faces, but if I go by what y'all just said, I'm going to go with Cap.

Speaker 1:

That was the most like gentleman and misogynist statement Like ever. How can I be super?

Speaker 2:

sexist and polite.

Speaker 3:

Yeah like right, this is USC, you gotta ease into it.

Speaker 4:

Come on, man, I'm gonna go with the veteran. I'm following A-Train. Remember I said that If I get lost I'll follow.

Speaker 3:

A-Train. Mark, you're the last. You don't know. You know what I'm gonna go out on a limb here.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna go with that would have been All right. All right, If I get lost, I'll follow A-Train. Mark, you're the last. You don't know.

Speaker 3:

You know what I'm going to go out on a limb here I'm going to go with you can't say, oh, they're Brazilians, that's your favorite. Yeah, both of them are from Brazil so I can't any.

Speaker 4:

Renato.

Speaker 1:

I want once again. I want to say Jalen Turner because he's black, but I think, renato, if it's more seasoned. Yeah, I think if the fight somehow someway gets to the ground, he's going to do his thing. So I'm going to go with the black guy.

Speaker 5:

That's a hard one for me, and I agree with you. I think it's one of those where it depends on where the fight ends up, and sometimes it's a flip of a coin you can't really judge, like, okay, it's on on the ground and all of a sudden it goes completely. It's like, uh, kevin holland goes to the ground and it's like he's done and that's it. But if it never goes to the ground, then someone has trouble.

Speaker 1:

So yeah um it's, it's a tough 50 50 in my head, but probably jaylen for me I've seen more kano fight and I've seen him want to stand with people when he probably shouldn't have. And he actually has been successful doing it all right well that's so.

Speaker 3:

Let's speed this up because we have some more to go, so we're trying to.

Speaker 4:

All right, sorry about that, yeah that's a possibility of four shots, because we've done four, number four now, so I'm gonna skip on this one. All right, so?

Speaker 2:

and mark you I'm skipping on this.

Speaker 1:

Okay, all right so all right now, Now DMV native Sadiq Youssef versus Diego Lopez.

Speaker 3:

Once again Nigerian versus another Brazilian.

Speaker 1:

I actually don't know anything about Diego Lopez, so I'm going to go with Sadiq on this one.

Speaker 2:

Yep. Yeah, I'm going to go with Sadiq represent.

Speaker 5:

You have to DMV here. I got to keep my DMV card Right. There you go too DMV here, I got to keep my DMV card. There you go.

Speaker 4:

Sadiq, if you lose, we're coming for you, I'll go with Sadiq too.

Speaker 1:

Now we move on. Holly Holm versus Kayla Harrison. Kayla Harrison has probably got to get her first real test of fighting through Holly Holm. Holly Holm has been fighting for a very long time, very long time. In this case, I'm'm gonna go with kayla harrison oh, that's interesting.

Speaker 5:

You know what. This is another one of those tough ones where clearly, if it goes to the ground that we've seen almost all of holly's losses when it goes to the ground she gets submitted. So kayla's not standing, that's true, but then again you gotta stand before you get to the ground. So the question is, what is Holly's game plan? If Holly can connect and Kayla can't take any blows, we may see Holly win. You know this is 300. So it's going to be either a swan song you know her goodbye fight, it's going to be something, she has to prove something or else our stock goes into the toilet.

Speaker 3:

All right, let's keep it quick.

Speaker 5:

What do I say I'm going to go with Holly.

Speaker 1:

Swank.

Speaker 4:

I'll pass on this one. It's two ladies fighting again. I mean, come on you know how. I feel about that. I'm going to Holly.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to go with Kayla.

Speaker 3:

All right, all right, so two and two.

Speaker 1:

Yep, all right. So Calvin Katar versus Aljamain Sterling. I am going. Aljamain, has he moved up? Yeah, he's moving up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I'm going with him too. His stats are solid. Yeah, I'm going with Al Jermaine.

Speaker 5:

Al Jermaine's up in New York. You know he's one of those guys love to hate, you know has gets so much, sometimes says things he shouldn't say, gets in trouble. But when it comes to skills, other than when he thinks that he's the best striker in the world and other than when he thinks that he's the best striker in the world and if you can put that aside, he doesn't play that game, he plays his game. He's virtually unstoppable right and he has great both ground game coach. You know Matt Serra in that group. Ray Longo, you know JKD got to go with him.

Speaker 4:

Aljamain me too, man, my guys going Aljamain see Al's chest Al Jermaine will beat this guy. He's saying look at his chest. Look at his chest.

Speaker 2:

I will say, the picture that they picked of Calvin his chest muscle it didn't do him justice. Yeah, you can see his ribcage and everything and then Al Jermaine is like ready. He's like Creed in the original Rocky Incredible Hulk.

Speaker 3:

Incredible Hulk. All right, so everybody.

Speaker 1:

What did you say? Rushing us on, he's going to take his time.

Speaker 3:

Craziness. No, because I was thinking about I'm doing Calvin. I'm doing Calvin, okay, Because I have a feeling that Al Jermaine is going to be tested.

Speaker 1:

I mean he's moving up in weight.

Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying he's definitely moving up in weight. Okay, so that means he's against somebody who's walking around that way. Yuri Brocheka versus Alexander Rokic.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go Jury just because I think he has to come back from the knockout.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, jury, that's the guy with the ponytail, right? Yeah yeah, he's going to come back from the knockout.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm going to go with him too. He's got a lot of wins under his belt.

Speaker 3:

Okay, he's official. Almost double, he's official.

Speaker 1:

It's double, it is double. Are you trying, are you?

Speaker 5:

trying. That's a hard one. That's another hard one for me. I guess that's why it makes it exciting, you know what?

Speaker 4:

Just because you guys said that I'm going to go with Alexander. Yeah, alexander man rakic. All right, what country is racket from? I?

Speaker 1:

have no clue. It looks like it's one of them eastern europeans.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that guy, he's gonna whoop his ass, all right, so cole.

Speaker 1:

Kody brundid versus bo nickel. Uh, bo nickel is the ufc's like like he's a wonder boy. Yeah, he's their wonder boy right now. So I'm just gonna go with bo nickel, just because I don't know, I'm pass on this one.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I passed too yeah, I'm gonna pass this one tough because bo nickel is like he's on, he's on, he's winning quickly but untested because he hasn't been in deep five fights he's undefeated, but he has, so yeah, five fights. So that's one of those kind of flip the coin like how can you decide you don't have enough information? Cody also has pretty low stats, so you'd have to ask yourself, okay, if it went to a decision to probably go with Bullnickle to teach the guy that won.

Speaker 3:

All right, keep going.

Speaker 5:

Okay, next.

Speaker 1:

Charles Oliveira versus Armane. I can't say his last name Sadoukian yeah, sadoukian. I can't say his last name Sadukyan yeah, sadukyan.

Speaker 2:

Armenian name.

Speaker 1:

Yeah my bad, it's all good and.

Speaker 2:

I'm definitely going with him.

Speaker 1:

Armenian pride.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna try Honoring the high.

Speaker 3:

Oh, you gonna pick, your, you gonna pick.

Speaker 1:

I thought, you were gonna pick Brazilian, as he should.

Speaker 3:

No, as he should.

Speaker 2:

No, I'm Armenian. You gotta go with him. My wife is Brazilian. I'm Armenian, you know, through marriage, but I'm Brazilian through marriage, but I'm Armenian by blood.

Speaker 3:

All right.

Speaker 1:

So I'm going to go Brazilian, I'm going to go Charles.

Speaker 3:

Charles is my man. Yeah, charles is my man. Yeah, I'm going to go, charles.

Speaker 4:

Man, I pass, I pass, I pass, I pass.

Speaker 1:

Halloween gaming. Oh, this one. If there's one I was going to pass on, it would be this one, because these are two gentlemen that I really really like. I like these two gentlemen. They scrappers. But if I just had to put my money on somebody, it would be Max Holloway. Wow, really, I'm going. Max, bro. I just feel like Max has been in so many fights, so many wars. No one's shut his lights out, he just fights, bro, and if he figures out a way to touch you, he going to touch you a lot.

Speaker 5:

Well, that's his style, he's a volume fighter. But, you know, gaethje just seems to win. He seems to be stronger in a lot of ways where Max doesn't bring that power, and I think that may end up being the difference who can absorb more or he can hurt who more. And so I'm kind of leaning on Gaethje in this one. All right, I'm passing, I don't know, I'm passing too All right, I'm passing.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, I'm passing too.

Speaker 3:

All right, what'd you say? I want Gaethje, I'm going Gaethje, okay.

Speaker 1:

Wang, xie Li versus Yang Xiong and I know I fucked her name up, I'm so sorry. All right, let's go, but I'm going Wang, I'm going Xie Li. Yeah, I'm going, jay Lee, you're hilarious, you're hilarious.

Speaker 5:

You know what I have to say. That Zhang represents like the epitome of a martial artist. She does just about everything, and so she's only really been beaten by the very best, whether it was Joanna Champion or Thug Rose. You know what I mean. She just has it all. So, um yan, my understanding is quick, she's fast, but she doesn't have the experience. Sometimes, when you fight the top, top level competition, there's something extra that you have when you fight a person who is new and coming up, and unless you're like old and become old and overnight, you're going to win. So it's Zhang, it's Wei.

Speaker 4:

Li. All right, I'm going with Wei Li Zhang. She looks older.

Speaker 1:

She looks.

Speaker 4:

Her face looks stronger too.

Speaker 1:

Her face looks stronger. It's two women fighting Swank.

Speaker 3:

Two women. So now these women.

Speaker 5:

She lifts weights with her face.

Speaker 4:

One's face looks confident. This guy with his compliment that's what I'm going for she's number one. She's number one in the weight.

Speaker 2:

She gonna beat her with her face.

Speaker 1:

What you talking?

Speaker 2:

about Ego.

Speaker 3:

I'm going with Weili Zhang All right.

Speaker 1:

So last championship fight Alex Fierro versus Jamal Hill Doom, doom, doom, main event. Ego you go, hill Doom, doom, doom, main event.

Speaker 3:

Mmm, ooh, ego, you go first. Oh man, I'm going to go Alex, because Alex has he's already, he's the champ. He has to keep his name out there. I'm going with Alex.

Speaker 1:

Swank, or are you going?

Speaker 5:

to wait for A-Train, a-train.

Speaker 4:

What are we doing? How are we doing, alex? It is then All right, alex, it is you better go Brazil.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm going to go with Alex for Brazil. I'm going to go with Alex for Brazil.

Speaker 2:

I mean you can go with Alex. I mean I was going to say, like the stats look better, because you know Jamal has 12-1. He's got 9-2. So you know, but I'm going to go with Alex.

Speaker 3:

Jamal, I knew it Go black guy, all right.

Speaker 1:

All right, here's the thing. Here's the thing.

Speaker 5:

Jamal beat Glover. Glover became right Glover. Teixeira became Alex's coach.

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 5:

So there's this extra piece of I can't lose to you. Yeah, exactly, so unless Jamal knocks him out cold, he's gonna to be bringing flames to prove like you know what this fight is going to end in?

Speaker 1:

a knockout, yeah, oh, definitely. It's also like and that's what you love, a-train, absolutely, you love knockouts. That's the way Ego Love knockouts.

Speaker 5:

Everybody loves knockouts, big balls knockout.

Speaker 2:

Well, if Alex's coach is someone who lost to Jamal, then and he's probably being coached on what made him lose, you know so he's going to have his guard up for that particular move.

Speaker 3:

But they're two different fighters too. Yes, so Jamal fought his coaches. Coaches are. He's a knockout, but he's a Brazilian black belt right Versus Alex is a fighter stand-up. He came from the kickboxing world, so that means it's going to be a brawl.

Speaker 1:

That's it If Jamal can stay away from his left hand, he'll be all right.

Speaker 5:

Remember Alex and Adesanya, Remember that whole thing. So he fought one of the best strikers in the UFC. So I'm worried about that. So to me you add a couple of those pieces to the equation.

Speaker 1:

Was Jamal knocked out last time Because Alex has been knocked out. So I haven't seen Jamal get knocked out, so I don't know.

Speaker 3:

He probably lost by decision or either.

Speaker 5:

Alex is super, you know. The only thing you could say is Alex has moved up in weight, so we don't know what that whole difference in power level is, but Alex is strong, alex is at his natural weight right now.

Speaker 3:

All right, right now, hey y'all wrong. Alex is at his natural weight right now. Hey y'all, thank you. This is our prediction.

Speaker 2:

Tune in next time this is our predictions we gonna get drunk next time.

Speaker 6:

I don't know, if we Are, we gonna take shots on the podcast while we're doing the podcast, or are we gonna do it before?

Speaker 2:

Nope, I'm gonna have to do that on air.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, alright, so we're gonna do shots on the podcast. I don't Nope, I'm going to have to do that on air. Yeah, all right, so we're going to do shots on the podcast After like yeah, yeah, I don't want to miss that.

Speaker 4:

You don't want to miss that episode. Yeah, we're going to have a special guest?

Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to get some.

Speaker 2:

Bacardi 151. Wow.

Speaker 3:

You on who Shasta you?

Speaker 2:

on who.

Speaker 1:

No, I am not hey.
